In August of 2009, Harmonix announced the Rock Band Network.   We decided to jump into the fray as avid Rock Bank players and entertainment professionals.   The Rock Band Network is new system in which musicians and record labels can integrate their music into Rock Band as playable game content.

MTV Games and Harmonix are opening up the Rock Band music store to everyone in 2010. Rock Band Network allows any artist to upload and price their own tracks for users to download from the game's music store.

MTV Games senior VP Paul DeGooyer says the Rock Band Network features a "set of serious professional tools to allow people on the front line of writing and recording songs to completely control their destiny with respect to interactive products and then giving them direct access to the download store."

In June of 2010, 21-6 created Offbeat Entertainment to handle the Rock Band side of the business. A few songs were released to the Rock Band Network under the "TwentyOneSix" author name so we leave this section up on our site. All Rock Band Network related communication should be with Offbeat Entertainment moving forward.
